Welcome to the Silver Fox Inn, the region’s first five-star hotel in western PEI.

Victorian-era landmark The Silver Fox Inn was created by renowned architect W.C. Harris. A highlighted property on the city’s self-guided walking tour, this five-star bed and breakfast is situated in the center of downtown Summerside’s Heritage district. The harborfront, the boardwalk and beach, as well as access to the Confederation route for bicycling and hiking, are all within a short stroll of the property. It is also a short walk to restaurants, theaters, and shops.

Please have a look at The Queen Anne Heritage House if you’re seeking for a completely furnished and outfitted home away from home.

Something about Summerside & PEI
The smallest province in Canada, Prince Edward Island, is situated north of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the warm southern waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. With miles of sandy beaches, numerous top-notch golf courses, and a gently sloping landscape of well-kept farmland, PEI is a vacationers’ dream. There is a lot of music, theater, and amazing seafood.

The main city in western Prince Edward Island, Summerside, is a great place to base your trip there.

Summerside, which is the island’s narrowest point on the south shore, contains a working harbor, a boating marina, a sandy beach with miles of promenade, a world-class theater, and the famed College of Piping, which hosts nightly Celtic music concerts throughout the summer. Since almost every part of the island can be reached in under an hour and a half by car, Summerside is the perfect starting point for day trips to the other fascinating parts of the island. For instance, it takes around 35 minutes to drive to Charlottetown, the birthplace of Canadian Confederation, 25 minutes to get to Cavendish, the setting for Anne of Green Gables and Lucy Maude Montgomery, and it takes about an hour and a half to get to the experimental wind farm at North Cape.
